About This Project

Inspired by the symbolic landscapes of forests and mountains often found in literature and folklore, this library reimagines learning as a journey of imagination, discovery, and inspiration. The design transforms these timeless themes into a contemporary fairytale-like environment that feels immersive, welcoming, and emotionally engaging. Designed primarily for students and young readers, the library moves away from conventional institutional spaces and instead embraces warmth, comfort, and creativity. Natural materials, abundant greenery, organic forms, and carefully curated textures create a cozy atmosphere that encourages exploration, focus, and connection. Light plays a central role throughout the project. Large glazed openings allow natural daylight to fill the interior, enhancing wellbeing and creating ideal conditions for reading and studying. As the day transitions, warm artificial lighting maintains a calm and inviting ambiance, ensuring the space remains comfortable and inspiring at all times. The library is a multifunctional hub that brings together learning, creativity, and community. Its program includes a café, auditorium, computer laboratory, collaborative study areas, quiet reading zones, and a variety of flexible spaces that support different learning styles and activities. Every element has been carefully designed to balance aesthetics and functionality, creating an environment that is both visually captivating and highly practical. More than a library, the project is an experience—one that encourages curiosity, fosters creativity, and transforms everyday learning into something memorable and meaningful.
